At first listen it was almost as if these cats were channeling The Jam…but ’tis not so. I checked…no channeling. Good song though. “Chandeliers” from Summer Fiction‘s self-titled, debut release is a folky/indie-pop ditty that waxes a bit retro…but in a good way for sure. We totally dig the old school vibe laid down by the b/w presentation as it most certainly adds to the mystique of the video.
We did take a listen to some of their other songs via their Myspace page (click here) and there definitely some other notable tracks. Be sure to look for a full-fledged review in the not so distant future but, in the meantime, enjoy the vid and be sure check ’em out online at MySpace and iTunes.
